KS3 Learners Explore the Butterfly Gardens at Hall Place

As part of their Autumn Term 1 enrichment activities, KS3 learners from Break Through School in Belvedere enjoyed a memorable trip to Hall Place in Bexley, where they explored the beautiful Butterfly Gardens.

Learners were fascinated by the vibrant colours and delicate movements of the butterflies, gaining a first-hand appreciation for nature and biodiversity. The experience offered a calm, sensory-rich environment where learners could observe, explore, and connect with the natural world in a hands-on way.

School Principal Ruth Elliott said:

“Our enrichment programme is all about offering new experiences that inspire curiosity and joy. The Butterfly Gardens visit was a fantastic opportunity for learners to see nature up close and build confidence through exploration and discovery.”

The visit marked a wonderful end to the first half of the Autumn Term, reminding everyone of the value of learning outside the classroom, where curiosity can truly take flight.
